Richard Chamberlain – 1934
It is with his role as ‘Dr. Kildare’ in the television series by the same name that Richard Chamberlain found fame and became a youth icon. Later in his career, Chamberlain landed himself roles in The Thornbirds and in Shogun, which came to be memorable performances. Of course, he has credits for many more roles over his career. He has had the honor of working alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood, like Katherine Hepburn, Gemma Craven, and Sharon Stone.
Chamberlain’s skills extend to his work on stage as well, as he is popular for his exceptional Broadway performances. It was in 2003 that his autobiography was released, titled Shattered Love. He is currently in his eighties and good health and is still active in the industry.
